The Creswick "Old" Cemetery was in operation possibly between 1851 until December 1858 when the Clunes road cemetery was officially opened. Often referred to as the "Chinese Cemetery" this site was used by everyone to bury their loved ones.
This list is an ongoing project as there was no register held at this cemetery as it was never a Gazzetted Cemetery until recently. The list is alphabetical and there are just over 400 names.
If you have death certificates for anyone buried in Creswick Cemeteries please email a copy to the secretary cemetery_creswick@hotmail.com so we can make sure our records are as accurate as possible.
